Bookstub terms of use

Bookstub is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with the short terms below. The terms cover the optional Bookstub Pass, the lines you save, how you share, where book data comes from, and what the app does not promise. Updated October 10, 2026.

Which agreement applies?

The full license is Apple's Standard EULA. If anything below conflicts with it, Apple's text controls.

How does Bookstub Pass work?

The Pass is offered as a yearly subscription, with a free trial when the App Store shows one, a weekly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions.

Logging, streaks and your stubs stay free.

Who owns what I write?

Lines are short passages you type yourself, up to 280 characters, with their attribution. You are responsible for what you save and share. Keep quotations short.

How should I use sharing?

You choose who receives your links and images. Do not use nicknames or shares to harass anyone.

Is the book data reliable?

Titles, authors and page counts come from Google Books or Open Library and may contain errors. You can edit any book by hand.

Is there a warranty?

Bookstub is provided as is. Keep a backup of anything you would not want to lose.
